In South Africa in September, the weather has quietly warmed up, and the beautiful King's flower and Blue Flower bloom have begun to exude fragrance. Johannesburg, a city full of multicultural colors, has welcomed representatives from various departments who came to UNIK Group to participate in the team building. This sports-themed team building activity will surely enhance mutual feelings and increase everyone's understanding and trust in the group company.

Presidential Palace of South African

On the afternoon of September 22nd, the UNIK delegation first arrived in Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. In front of the Union Buildings, known as the most beautiful presidential palace in South Africa, a huge Mandela sculpture opened its arms to welcome participants from different countries and skin colors. We walked up the steps of the presidential palace and the whole view of the presidential palace gradually appeared in front of us. It was built on the mountain and stood majestically in the glow of the sunset, carrying the unyielding history and infinite glory of the entire South Africa. We had a deep understanding of the background of South Africa's democratic movement and the origin of the South African government. During the tour, team members from different countries and cultural backgrounds exchanged views and feelings with each other, and feelings were subtly integrated.

The next morning, awakened by birds in the warm climate of South Africa, at 9 am on the 23rd, the core activity of this team building - UNIK Construction Football and Table Tennis Tournament - was kicked off at Huddles Park in Johannesburg. More than 50 people from four representative teams of the group company's construction and real estate participated in the competition.

The four participating teams in the football competition, UNIK Botswana/RIC Botswana, are characterized by their teamwork and physical strength; UNIK Namibia/RIC South Africa, are characterized by their high-level players, including GEORGE, a former member of the Namibian national football team, who is an absolute core on both offense and defense and has outstanding skills; UNIK South Africa/Lesotho, have a short integration time and have a strong overall strength after summarizing their strategies. The East African team has a good overall level, and the young man KANGWA in the team is also a football master.

The battle for the second place was between UNIK South Africa/Lesotho and UNIK East Africa. Despite a poor start, the captain Yang Chuanling and Gao Hua adjusted their tactics and changed to an efficient defensive counterattack strategy to compete with the East Africa team. This timely and effective tactical adjustment allowed UNIK South Africa/Lesotho to gain the upper hand, reverse the situation, and win the game.

The arrogant champion team

The highly anticipated final was played between UNIK Botswana United and UNIK Nano/RIC South Africa United on the afternoon of the 24th. Both teams were ready for battle. Shortly after the start, George of Nano United scored a goal with a ground-breaking free kick to take the lead. Despite falling behind, Botswana United did not panic and steadily carried out their pre-match tactics, eventually turning the tide and winning the championship!

Yang Chuanling, the core player of UNIK South Africa/Lesotho team, won the Golden Boot Award for his proficient dribbling and accurate shooting. Chris, the goalkeeper who built the wall of sighs for UNIK Namibia/RIC South Africa team, won the Golden Glove Award, which symbolizes the best goalkeeper.

At the same time, the table tennis competition is also in full swing and intense. Colleagues from both China and abroad are able to get started, and everyone is grinding their hands. There are 16 finalists. First came Kamo from the Lesotho branch of UNIK, who easily defeated Daniel from Botswana, UNIK, and was not inferior to men; John from the South African branch utilized his advantage in height and arm length to be good at chopping the ball when dealing with opponents. However, when faced with Huang Aolong, who was known for his open and aggressive style of play, he was clearly defeated and lost. Later, Huang Aolong was suppressed by Ning Jianzhong's excellent serving and pulling skills in the match against Malawi, and missed the final. The exciting championship and runner up competition took place between Xu Bo and Ning Jianzhong, but when Ning Jianzhong emerged victorious, Wang Xubo remained calm and skilled. After intense confrontation, Ning Jianzhong was slightly defeated. Xu Bo pursued the victory and won the championship medal in one fell swoop. Huang Aolong won the third place in this table tennis competition, and thus, the important awards of the competition belong to his respective owners.

During the intense competition, everyone gained more understanding of the environment and food in South Africa. The authentic Chinese hot pot restaurant, spicy and delicious Hunan cuisine, as well as various vegetables from all over the country can be found here. Everyone also worked together to hold a barbecue feast at the company's residence. In the conversation of laughter, there was no longer the initial awkwardness, and everyone helped each other to establish a deep friendship.

After the award ceremony, everyone sat around on the grass, and Mr. Jesse Doorasamy, the HR manager of UNIK Construction Engineering South Africa Branch, delivered a speech. He is a natural speaker with the humorous eloquence of a stand-up comedian. He expressed warm greetings to every UNIK employee present and afar, and expressed his sincere gratitude for their contributions to the company family. He also interacted with everyone through questions and answers, and jointly explored the company's values, injecting enthusiasm and warmth into the entire ceremony. The core values of UNIK, integrity, efficiency, teamwork, and innovation, were also highlighted.

Subsequently, Mr. Jesse Doorasamy sincerely invited Mr. Wang Hongbo, Chairman of the Group Company, to deliver a speech to promote the entire event to a new height.

Mr. Wang Hongbo, the chairman of the board, first extended his cordial greetings to the colleagues who participated in the team building activities and stayed on their posts, and warmly congratulated the groups and individuals who achieved excellent results in this activity! He encouraged everyone to pay attention to physical exercise and have a healthy body.
