On September 15, 2023, UNIK  won the bid for the "Construction of Morupule B Power Station Coal Shed", which is the first cooperation between UNIK Liankai Construction Engineering and Botswana Power Corporation, and is also the second time in Palapye after the "North South Water Diversion Project", "Morupule B Coal Mine Entrance Project" and other projects Another livelihood project won the bid in the region.

The dry coal shed project with a span of 140 meters needs to ensure the normal operation of coal feeding and storage operations during the installation and construction process, which puts higher and stricter requirements on construction technology and safety management. Morupule Power Station has undertaken most of the power generation tasks in Botswana. After completion, it will eliminate the problem of moisture and loss of stored coal due to rainy season, ensure the uninterrupted supply of dry coal all day long, and protect the power demand of millions of households in Botswana.
