On October 1st, as the whole country celebrated the National Day, UNIK  (Lesotho) Branch also received a big news. With the official opening of the new main road project in the Ha-Belo Industrial Zone and supporting infrastructure project in Lesotho, it marked the official completion of the Ha-Belo Industrial Zone and supporting infrastructure project in Lesotho undertaken by UNIK, and presented a generous gift to the 74th anniversary of the founding of New China and the friendship between China and Lesotho!

From October 2nd to 4th, an expert acceptance team consisting of the owner and consulting engineers jointly inspected the completion of the project. The project covers an area of 121 hectares and is the largest industrial park in Lesotho. The first phase of the Ha-Belo project, with an investment of about 900 million rand, has completed 16 steel structures, 68,000 square meters of factories and supporting infrastructure projects. The sewage treatment plant, 6.5 km of factory road system and 1 km of main road have also been completed simultaneously. The construction team of UNIK in Lesotho Ha-Belo project received high praise from the acceptance team, which gave unanimous praise to the project's construction safety, quality control, finished product protection, process management, technological innovation, etc.

The Ha-Belo project in Lesotho has a huge structure and involves multiple professional fields. The main structure on site was successfully completed in less than two years. According to the on-site project manager Lu Yaozhuang, the project department started from a forward-looking perspective and understood the on-site data well. The key to gaining initiative in the work is to gradually refine and allocate resources from the large system structure from point to point, from large to small, and from complex to simple, and finally implement it to each construction team and every construction personnel according to the construction plan. The teams carry out construction in a flow process to ensure seamless connection between each process, greatly improving the efficiency of on-site construction. In response to problems encountered during the construction process such as discrepancies between design drawings and the site, professional engineers of the project department constantly communicate, discuss, and investigate with design and consulting engineers, and propose reasonable solutions and suggestions in a timely manner to ensure on-site construction.

Local universities have organized many visits and studies, and the completion of the project will become an engineering case for young students in Lesotho to learn from. With the completion of the Ha-Belo project, the company's Lesotho MKA road repair and upgrading project is about to start. The project construction team will go to a new battlefield and create more high-quality projects on the vast African continent.
