Recently, the main part of Botswana Moshupa drainage system project, sewage treatment plant, gravity pump house and lift pump house of UNIK received the delivery certificate, marking the phased victory of the project and laying the foundation for the next step of putting the whole line into running.

The total cost of the Moshoeshoe drainage project of UNIK is hundreds of millions of yuan, with a large project size and a tight construction period. At the beginning of the project, facing the complex terrain and landforms on site, the original design data was relatively vague, and all data verification was attributed to the construction party. Under the guidance of the company's headquarters, the project technical staff conducted a lot of technical research work.

At the key stage of project construction. The project team of insisted on on-site construction during the day and held technical meetings at night. During the meetings, various issues encountered in earthwork, power, signal, machinery, structure, etc. were integrated and discussed to ensure the orderly implementation of construction the next day. For pipeline construction, from point to line to face, any design change will affect the whole system. The project team members overcame the enormous pressure brought by various uncertain factors, discussed and resolved various difficulties step by step.

During the on-site construction, there were about 25 Chinese managers and about 60 foreign manager. The total quantity of people on the project once exceeded 800, and everyone carried out their work in a solid, efficient, and orderly manner according to the meeting schedule.

As of the end of September, 362 kilometers of the 370-kilometer pipeline construction of the Mosuopu drainage system project had been completed, and 4 of the remaining 8 pump houses had reached delivery conditions. Moving further ahead, the project has now entered a stage of hard work and fast progress, with plans to complete the project as a whole by the end of November, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of the project.
