A Large Urban Complex Project Breaks Ground in Botswana's Capital, Constructed by UNIK Construction Engineering----
At 11 a.m. on August 21, the Phase I infrastructure construction work of ECO CITY project, developed by RIC Development Botswana and constructed by UNIK Construction Engineering (UNIK), officially broke ground. Local members of parliament, tribal chiefs, heads of relevant government departments, and industry representatives attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Mr. Jiao Jun, the General Manager of RIC Development Botswana accompanied the guests and witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony, marking the official launch of the ECO CITY project. The construction team from UNIK Botswana branch immediately launched into production activities, with the "three connections and one leveling" project expected to be completed by the end of the year. ECO CITY, a sprawling large urban complex covering over one million square meters, is located at the southern end of Botswana's capital, nestled between a reservoir and Kgale Hill, offering an exceptional and unique natural environment. The design concept focuses on the harmonious integration of nature and culture. The development of the first phase, spanning over 200,000 square meters, will play a leading role in the project’s promotion and branding. Following the success of the Sarona City project, ECO CITY will be the second large-scale urban complex integrating residential, commercial, cultural, and ecological spaces. RIC is committed to creating an even higher-quality ECO CITY that will seamlessly merge local life with future aspirations, balancing the vibrancy of city life with serene landscapes, and introducing a new era of urban living.
