The CP3 section of the sewerage project located in the urban area of Zambia capital city, which benefits approximately 10,000 surrounding households, is a large-scale municipal livelihood improvement project. The signing of the first contract in Zambia kicked off a series of municipal projects. Made by: Zheng Zhongbo The project undertaken by UNIK is located in the old urban area of Lusaka, with a dense population, narrow construction area, and complex underground pipelines. The underground soil is mostly clay structure, and the groundwater level is abundant. Inorder to prevent landslides, the project team requires appropriate excavation support for excavation depths exceeding 1.5 meters. These measures place higher requirements on construction safety, increase construction difficulty, and reduce construction efficiency. All staff of UNIK CP3 Project Department uphold a scientifically rigorous attitude, and under the leadership of Project Manager Zhang Jian and the management team, they coordinate the construction processes of each section, rationally allocate resources such as personnel, materials, and machinery, strictly control quality, and promote the project with high quality and quantity. Made by: Chen Guohua The project team received technical guidance from the headquarters of the group company and the Zambia branch. Thanks to the years of deep experience in the field of water supply and drainage in Zambia, the project was not only completed smoothly as scheduled, but also received recognition from the owner and 100% praise from residents along the way.
